Head Changeover Tool

HCT 1

This time-saving tool is designed to support capping heads during changeover operations. The support tool improves overall safety by allowing operators to mitigate manual handling of heavy capping heads during format changeovers. It is a completely customizable tool that can be installed on any Zalkin capping system, including stand-alone cappers and monobloc capping turrets.

  • Supports capping head weight from 6 to 12 kg by utilizing a preloaded spring harness
  • Weight bearing support reduces the exertion required from the operator during format changeover

Inventory stock levels of key components. Your Zalkin support team can help you customize a list of critical items to keep on your shelf.   This can be especially important if you have planned maintenance scheduled for later this year.  In addition, stocking parts now could hedge against rising cost of materials in the future and ensure you have them on the shelf when you need them most.

Equipment audits and inspections.  To avoid unplanned downtime, which could be further complicated by availability of parts, we recommend that you schedule a detailed inspection of your equipment by a Zalkin service representative to catch potential concerns before they become costly (or lengthy) surprises.
